Elica

Choose the Elica appliance that suits your kitchen

Start with the cooking and extraction arrangement. A canopy hood is fitted beneath a cabinet or within a more compact run of units. A chimney hood is a visible wall-mounted option, while a ceiling hood suits an open-plan layout where the extractor is positioned above an island or cooking zone. Check the required width, mounting height, duct diameter and electrical connection before ordering. The 60cm ASCENT-BLK-60 is suited to many standard cooking areas, while the 52cm SLEEK2.0-SS-60 offers a compact canopy format. Always compare the product specification with the installation space.

Elica also offers integrated air venting induction hobs. These combine a hob and extractor in one surface, which can help keep the wall above the hob visually clear. Our stock includes the 83cm NikolaTesla Switch and NikolaTesla One models. Select ducted extraction when suitable external ducting is available. Choose recirculation when ducting outside is impractical, and allow for the correct filter accessories and maintenance.

Elica technologies explained

Induction heats compatible pans directly, so the pan and its contents respond quickly to control changes. An air venting induction hob places extraction between or beside the cooking zones. Ducted models move vapours outside through connected ductwork. Recirculating models pass the air through filters before returning it to the room. The installation method affects the accessories required, so check the individual model details before purchase.

Elica's NikolaTesla line is its best-known extractor-hob concept, combining induction cooking with integrated extraction. Elica also describes Extrair as using sensors to detect the quantity and quality of vapours and odours. These features are model-specific, so product pages and manuals should be used to confirm the functions available on a particular appliance.

A practical buying tip

Before ordering, measure the available width and cabinet depth, identify whether extraction will be ducted or recirculating, and check the power supply. For homes in the Netherlands, Belgium, Germany, Ireland, Malta and Cyprus, confirm the installation arrangements and access route with the delivery team. Keep the product model and installation documents for future filter, accessory or service enquiries.
