Haier

Choose the right Haier appliance

Start with the space, capacity and installation type. Freestanding washing machines and tumble dryers are easier to replace, while an integrated washer dryer is designed to sit behind a furniture door. Check the appliance dimensions, door clearance and ventilation requirements before ordering. For refrigeration, measure the available width carefully. A 55cm model can suit a narrower kitchen, while larger American style and four-door models need more room for opening doors and drawers.

Our Haier range includes standard washing machines, washer dryers and tumble dryers for different laundry routines. A washer dryer can save space where separate machines are not practical. A separate washing machine and tumble dryer may suit households that wash and dry frequently. Fridge freezer choices include conventional freestanding formats, American style designs and larger four-door models with ice and water features. Always compare capacity, energy label, noise information and the required plumbing or water connection.

Haier technologies explained

Direct Motion is a beltless motor fitted directly to the drum on selected washing machines. Haier says this construction reduces intermediate moving parts, noise and vibration, while helping reduce water and energy consumption on compatible models. It can be useful in open-plan homes or when laundry appliances are near living areas.

Compatible appliances can connect to the hOn app. Depending on the model, the app can provide remote monitoring, cycle customisation, extra programmes, maintenance guidance and consumption information. Selected machines also include features such as a vapour Refresh Programme, Smart AI Cycle, Smart Dual Spray or Ultra Fresh Air. These features vary by model, so check the individual product specification rather than assuming every Haier appliance includes them.

Buying Haier in Europe

EU Appliance Depot is run by Sinpro Trading B.V., Alem, the Netherlands, and is an authorised dealer for the brands it sells. EU customers receive EU-specification models with the manufacturer's EU warranty, plus the 2-year EU legal guarantee. Delivery, installation and removal of the old appliance are available in the Netherlands, Belgium, Germany, Ireland, Malta and Cyprus. Installation requirements can differ between homes, so check that water, drainage, electrical connections and access are ready before delivery.

A practical buying tip

Keep the full model code when comparing products. Haier names similar appliances by series, capacity, colour and installation type, but specifications can differ. For a multibuy order, customers can request one package price for two or more appliances. This can be useful when replacing a washing machine and tumble dryer together or updating laundry and refrigeration at the same time.
