Hoover technologies explained

Selected H-WASH and H-DRY appliances use an Eco-Power Inverter Motor. Hoover describes this as a permanent-magnet brushless motor intended to reduce friction and adapt operation to the load. Connected models may provide Wi-Fi and Bluetooth remote control, extra programme content and support through Hoover's app services.

Heat-pump dryers reuse heat within the drying system and generally operate at lower temperatures than conventional condenser dryers. This can suit households that want a more controlled drying process. Hoover's Aquavision feature appears on selected H-DRY models and helps manage condensed water. Self-dosing is available on some washing machines, where the appliance calculates detergent and softener quantities for several cycles.
