LG

Choose the LG appliance that fits your home

For laundry, start with capacity and installation space. A 9kg washing machine suits many households, while 10kg, 12kg and 13kg models can reduce the number of weekly washes for larger families. Check the appliance depth as well as width, especially in kitchens and utility rooms in the Netherlands, Belgium, Germany, Ireland, Malta and Cyprus. If you need washing and drying in one appliance, a washer dryer saves floor space. The LG WashTower WT1210BBTN1 combines a 12kg washer with a 10kg heat-pump dryer in a vertical format, so measure ceiling height and access routes carefully.

Choose a freestanding model when you want straightforward placement and future flexibility. Confirm water, drainage, ventilation and electrical requirements before ordering. For televisions, compare screen size, viewing distance, room lighting and the connections required for consoles, soundbars or streaming devices. American-style fridge freezers need particular attention to door swing, delivery access and surrounding ventilation. Check stairways, lifts, doorways and kitchen clearances before purchase.

LG technologies explained simply

AI Direct Drive uses electronically controlled motor movements to vary the wash action for the selected cycle. TurboWash is designed to accelerate the wash process on compatible programmes. Steam adds steam during selected cycles, which can be useful when refreshing clothes or choosing a hygiene-focused programme. Heat-pump drying reuses warm air and operates at lower drying temperatures than conventional vented systems, although cycle times can differ.

Compatible LG appliances may also support ThinQ connected functions. These can allow app-based monitoring or control, but availability depends on the model, software and local network. Always check the individual product listing for the exact programmes, connectivity and dimensions rather than assuming every feature is included.

Buying LG in Europe

EU Appliance Depot supplies EU-specification LG models to EU customers. The retailer is run by Sinpro Trading B.V., Alem, the Netherlands, and is an authorised dealer for the brands it sells. EU customers receive the manufacturer's EU warranty, plus the 2-year EU legal guarantee. Delivery, installation and removal of the old appliance are available in the Netherlands, Belgium, Germany, Ireland, Malta and Cyprus. Installation requirements can vary by property, so confirm access, connections and any local building or electrical requirements before delivery.

A practical buying tip

Compare the complete product specification, not only the capacity or finish. Check dimensions, door opening, energy information, noise data, programme duration and included accessories. If you are buying several appliances, customers can request one package price for two or more appliances through the multibuy service.
