Sensis

Choose the right Sensis appliance

The stocked Sensis range covers the main appliance types needed for laundry and refrigeration. Choose a fridge freezer when you need fresh-food and frozen-food storage in one cabinet. A freestanding fridge freezer is easier to position or replace without fitting it into kitchen furniture. Check the available width, height, depth, door clearance and ventilation space before ordering, especially in compact kitchens in Ireland, Malta and Cyprus. For a dedicated laundry setup, choose a washing machine for washing only, a tumble dryer for drying only, or a washer dryer when space is limited and one appliance needs to handle both jobs.

The WMF01814AW is an 8kg washing machine with a 1400rpm spin speed. The WDF018514AW combines an 8kg wash capacity with a 5kg drying capacity and a 1400rpm spin speed. Remember that a washer dryer’s drying capacity can be lower than its washing capacity, so check the load before selecting a combined cycle. The Sensis tumble-dryer selection includes the 8kg TDHF018A2W heat pump model.

Technologies explained plainly

Frost Free and Total No Frost refrigeration systems are designed to limit ice accumulation, reducing the need for manual defrosting on compatible appliances. Heat pump drying recirculates heat within the dryer rather than using a simple heated-air approach, which makes it a relevant option for households comparing drying technologies. A 1400rpm spin speed removes more water before clothes enter the dryer, although the final result also depends on the fabric, programme and load size. Energy labels should be compared for the exact model, because the rating and consumption can vary across appliances.

Buying Sensis in Europe

EU Appliance Depot is run by Sinpro Trading B.V., Alem, the Netherlands, and is an authorised dealer for the brands it sells. EU customers receive EU-specification models with the manufacturer's EU warranty, plus the 2-year EU legal guarantee. Delivery, installation and removal of the old appliance are available in the Netherlands, Belgium, Germany, Ireland, Malta and Cyprus. This can help when replacing a built-in or freestanding appliance, but customers should still check dimensions, access routes, water connections, drainage and the electrical requirements before delivery.

For homes with different kitchen layouts or utility-room space, ask about a multibuy package. Customers can request one package price for two or more appliances. Sensis’s official published guarantee cited here is for domestic purchases in the UK, so the applicable EU warranty should be confirmed for the specific model and order.

A simple buying tip

Measure the installation space twice, including clearance for doors, hoses and ventilation. Then compare the appliance type, capacity, energy label, programme needs and delivery access. For laundry pairs, matching capacities can make routine loading easier, while a washer dryer may suit a smaller home where separate machines would not fit.
